Our Mission Statement

Here's Lisa in a nutshell: she's a woman who spent decades trying to squeeze herself into a mold that never quite fit. Raised in hard-line Christian faith, married twice, raised sons, played the dutiful wife even when it felt like swallowing glass. Her last husband loved her something fierce, which made her realize she was living a lie - she's always been drawn to women, not men. After he passed in 2020, she's done pretending. Now she's stepping into the light as a lesbian, tired of hiding behind church expectations and "pray the gay away" nonsense. She's got that backbone-of-steel determination that says she won't live dishonest anymore, especially with the political winds shifting dangerous. She's complex, weathered, and finally ready to be herself.
